Alaska Trip

Here are some pics from my July trip to Alaska. A friend and his Dad went with me and we stayed with Julie's sister and her family for 10 days. As you can see we had a great time, caught lots of fish, and saw some beautiful sights. Can't wait to go back!!

lots o rain = basement work

with all the rain we've been getting, I've been doing some work on the basement. I've got a couple walls put up, here are some pics:

the kids had been begging us to go to the park everyday and we didn't always have time so Julie and I decided I'd build them a swingset....here is the finished product. They've been using it quite a bit

back from Mexico

Well, we made it back. We had a great time, didn't do too much, just lounged around on the beach and by the pool. I'll give more detail on another post, but I've got much to catch up on, so here are a few pictures to look at for now. Enjoy!

Graduation & Vacation

well, Preston graduated from kindergarten last night.....it was quite the ceremony.

Julie and I are leaving for our much-needed-10th-anniversary-trip to Cozumel on Sunday (she got her passport yesterday!!).

Kellyn's 1st soccer game

potty training

well, we've started the potty training process with Breckyn (going very slow), so of course the 1st thing to do is get some panties. Here she is modeling her new Dora panties!! She's pretty proud!!

deck is done!!!

the deck is finally done, stairs and all........just have to apply the waterproofing sealer.......now on to the next project

Having Fun at Gram & Grandad's house

Here are some pictures of the kids having a tea party with Gram, playing soccer and then climbing, hanging, swinging and jumping from their tree. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon!!

my commute this morning....

this morning I took the back route to work via dirt roads on my mtb........I saw some deer, wild turkeys and this beautiful sunrise (although this picture doesn't do it justice)

snow in April !!!

last Thursday it started snowing about 2pm or so and snowed til dark.

Had to ride home in it, fortunately most of it melted since the ground was warm.

SUPERMAN!!

This little guy goes by the name of SUPERMAN!!! You see, sometimes he thinks he can FLY........well, he found out Tuesday that he can't!! He decided to jump off of a large-tree-tire-swing at its highest point. We're not exactly sure how he landed, one of our friends was watching the kids and she had her backed turned, all she heard was a bunch of screaming. He broke his wrist clean thru both bones, doctor says he'll have to wear a cast for about 6 weeks. Anyways, hopefully next time he will learn how to land better.

Breckyn's Birthday Party
